Claire send your thoughts! I’ll also chime in that I believe Shawn comes from the fact that the term begotten is only used after Yeshuas death (idk if it’s death or resurrection), not before.
I’ll find out more! Claire might know better on this haha.

Thanks for the response. That makes sense. Do you think eternal sonship is Biblical? I’m trying to understand if Jesus became Gods begotten son at birth or after he overcame his flesh… Not sure if I believe in Eternal sonship… seems a bit of a far stretch

We can definitely watch this video and answer! Probably on the call in show this week, and then we will link it here. Not sure if you watched last week’s call in show, but we spent a large portion of it going over the Trinity! He believes in eternal Sonship (Jesus was always the son of God) vs incarnational sonship (Jesus only became the son of God when He was born.)
