Here is my understanding: Yeshua is the Word of God. He was not Yeshua (a man) until He was begotten of the Father and born. The Word became flesh. The Word is separate from the flesh of Yeshua. The Word dwelled in Yeshua. The Word was with God in the beginning. When God spoke everything into existence that was The Word of God. That Word came down to earth to inhabit Yeshua. When Yeshua spoke on earth He was speaking the Word of God.
