In this follow-up to B.R.I.C.K.s 20-22, I delve deeper into the story of Noah, Ham, and the curse of Canaan in Genesis 9. I explore textual details that support the understanding that Ham’s sin involved having sexual relations with his mother, Mrs. Noah, in an attempt to assert dominance over his father. I discuss how the Hebrew text reveals that Noah “uncovered himself” in “her tent,” and I explain why Canaan was cursed. I also note something interesting concerning the Ammonites and Moabites.
