Metamorphosis of Yeshua?
This question may be for a future call-in show once it gets rolling again…
Shawn, you have spoken about the significance of Yeshua’s ascension, and of the return in 70 CE and perhaps of his final return to the heavenly realm after that, in terms of his integration with/into the One God. It seems clear to me that you represent these as the greatest transformation he went through—
But, with that in mind, what significance or meaning to you give to the metamorphosis which the synoptic Gospels say took place on the Mount – often called the Mount of Transfiguration – with all the striking details about the change in his appearance? Did this represent some type of change in his composition or status? And similarly, what about what happened to him at his Baptism with the spirit descending upon like a dove & the voice from Heaven? What was that spirit that descended upon him, in comparison to what he already had animating him from even before the Baptism?
Thanks for your insight
